About the Meeting
The 25th UC San Diego Advanced Imaging at Alta offers detailed, cutting edge, informative lectures on a variety of topics. This year’s focus areas include musculoskeletal, neurological, body imaging and radiation safety. The course highlights the use and interpretation of a variety of modalities – ultrasound, CT, MR, PET, etc. – to diagnose both common and uncommon conditions in each of the focus areas.

Target Audience
The course is designed for board certified radiologists, in private or academic practice. This course is also appropriate for trainees at various levels in diagnostic imaging and other practicing physicians desiring insight into the current roles of imaging in a managed care environment. In addition, allied health care professionals seeking an update on recent advances in radiology will also benefit from this course.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants should be able to:
  • Demonstrate improved skills in performing and interpreting radiologic procedures.
  • Develop an organized approach to establishing an accurate differential diagnosis for musculoskeletal, interventional, abdominal and head and neck pathology.
  • Discuss the latest in diagnostic methods used to evaluate neuro pathology, cardiac and chest disease, and the musculoskeletal system.
  • Discuss emerging technologies and cost-effective utilization of imaging methods.
  • Apply radiation safety protocols to clinical practice.
No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.

Registration Information
Tuition includes all course materials, including a comprehensive course digital syllabus, daily continental breakfasts and coffee breaks. Early registration is strongly suggested. There will be a $50 surcharge for anyone registering after January 12, 2023. Minimum and maximum attendance levels have been established for this meeting. If your registration cannot be accepted, you will be issued a full tuition refund. Cancellations must be received in writing. A $50 processing fee will be applied to all cancellations. Refunds requested in writing prior to January 12, 2023. Will be issued for the amount of tuition paid less the $50 processing fee. No refunds will be made on or after that date.

This activity is in compliance with California Assembly Bill 1195 which requires continuing medical education activities with patient care components to include curriculum in the subjects of cultural and linguistic competency. We are holding 20 rooms until July 31, 2022

Rooms are offered at a 10% lodging discount. They range between $611 (small room with Twin Beds) to our largest room $918 (Corner Room with King Bed). These rates are based on double occupancy and include full breakfast and Gourmet Dinner. Single rates are available as well.

Taxes & Fees:

15% Fee on Lodging and Meals only.
Room taxes = 13.82 % tax on lodging.
Local and Town Taxes = 9.75% (meals)and 8.75% (tax on other sales).

Check-In/Out: Check in time is 4:00PM. Check out time is Noon.

Guest Parking: Extremely limited.

Deposit Policy: A $1000.00 deposit is required at time of reservation. Advance Deposits will be refunded less $150.00 per room for cancellations received prior to December 5, 2022.

Full Payments: Full payments are required on December 5, 2022 (45 days prior to the planned arrival date) and is non refundable

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received 30 days or more prior to arrival monies will be held for a future stay; less than 30 days prior to arrival monies will be forfeited.
Additional: Guests are responsible for all reserved dates and will be charged for all changes. Please note that any credit card refunds will be charged a 5% processing fee. Due to the nature and size of our property, it is necessary to strictly adhere to our policies.
